Worst year for the sport ever, while other sports I watch seem to be getting better. No wonder this site has lost traffic and the general buzz is all but gone.
Wasn’t Inoue/Donaire signed and announced a few days ago?

Donaire is such a throwback fighter, and it’s nice to know he’s guaranteed for the HOF no matter what happens

The end of the year might be really good if all of these fights materialize :

        Canelo vs Kovalev
        Joshua vs Ruiz
        Inoue vs Donaire
        Spence vs Porter
        Gvozdyk vs Beterbiev
        Wilder vs Ortiz
        Prograis vs Taylor
        Golovkin vs Derevyanchenko
        Lomachenko vs Campbell

        That's a great lineup for a 4 month period

Leave it to Canelo holding out on us to really help us realize how much boxing truly needs him to stay active and provide us with something to talk about. Damnit Canelo come back, we appreciate you man. Ha ha....

Did ggg accept that fight? I figured he would pick another guy out of the phone book?

Great Post! Don't forget J-Rock vs. Hurd II. I need LSC vs. GRJ, or either one to step up and fight Tank @ 130! Farmer vs. Jo Jo Diaz would be good too! It's also promising to see Robert Garcia say that Mikey vs. DSG is the fight they want! That would be a big one too!

This is a sht year. And DAZN C@ck blocking good fights! Wouldn’t approve of Andrade??? Or Anyone else not named ggg but ok with him fighting bums ranked out of the top 100 at MW. DAZN going to be bankrupt at this rate. No fights and bum fights.

                  Those are all GREAT fights.

I’m taking Hurd in the rematch. Williams fought the PERFECT fight but I highly doubt he can be that great again plus Hurd now can correct a few thing and has film to study. Like that shoulder step back punch.

And I’m also taking AJ. He didn’t take Ruiz serious and was trying to look good like Wilder did.

I’ll go out and say AJ by KO

To say this year was horrible is a stretch. We still had some compelling match ups, really good fights, and a few major upsets. Sure. We didn’t get everything we would’ve hoped for, but we still have 4 months to go. Calm down people.

Pacquiao’s performance at his age in it of itself means this year wasn’t horrible. That was a historic, significant fight and performance.
