I thought he was cool with Thurman? Wassup’, Manny? You should’ve named that dog Floyd instead. After all, he called you Poochiao years ago.

It must be a female and obedient dog then.

This won’t go well with many in the black community. It will be interpreted like Pacquiao is calling Thurman a dog. I know Pacquiao doesn’t see it that way but people ought to understand the relationship with blacks and dogs. Calling someone a dog in many black communities is a big insult. Dogs were also used for oppression and one reason George Foreman had no support in Zairean was because of the dog he brought. It’s complex.

That's extremely disrespectful, especially after thurman respected him after the fight. If someone named their dog after me, we would need to have a confrontation every time we met up because that's completely disrespectful, especially to a fellow fighter.

Completely classless and disgusting move by pacquiao.

Pacquiao is a role model and an elder. He's been earning these young dudes' respect and then he does a childish low ball thing like this. Whatever respect Thurman gained for him is out the window, and I don't blame him. If I was thurman I would be like **** that dog eating bastard. Not only is Pacquiao hurting himself with this garbage, he's also hurting the Filipinos he's representing. This can only turn out bad for race relations. Black people will villainize Pacquiao and take it out on other filipinos

What are you doing? Is this something a true christian, a true follower of God would do? Absolutely not. God wants us to love and respect each other.

Pacquiao is acting like a fraud. Such a bad move.
