Farmer is the biggest fight for Tank right now. Considering Tank turned down $5M from DAZN, it's fair to say PBC would come close to that offer or even exceed it, netting him some good change. It would also land him a world championship belt.

    That's Tevin's leverage, and that's why $2M is a garbage low-ball offer.
5M was the offer to Tank, NOT Farmer. So tell me what would be a good non-low ball offer for Farmer? 3M? 4M? If they will pay him 3M, then he should counter Ellerbe's offer and request 3M. But that's not happening right now. Why? Because Farmer wants to re-up with DAZN. He wants a guaranteed multi-fight deal… Which is his right to do so. He gets KTFO by Tank, then what is his value to DAZN?

Correct, 5M was the offer to Tank, which gives Farmer leverage. If Mayweather Promotions doesn't up their offer to Farmer, Tank doesn't get his big pay day.

3-4M to Farmer...either of those seem more in line. Like you said, still a bad move for Farmer's career, given that he'll get KO'd and lose his belt.

Farmer is not getting 3-4 million. 2 million is more than enough for a 6 KO/ 4 Loss fighter.

Tevin's leverage if towards DAZN not Tank. He has a $2 mil offer from Davis. He goes back to DAZN and have them match it. Tank doesn't need Farmer. Tank is already one of the biggest names in the sport. He'll fight Gamboa and sell out and do ratings. Farmer will go back to fight on an undercard for 600k and get boo'd again.

Tank's ratings have been embarrassing, but otherwise I agree.

Over 500k on a pay service is bad? How much does Farmer get on DAZN? The only fighter we know for sure getting better ratings than Tank is Canelo. Tank is doing ESPN numbers behind a paywall

So yeah, the 2M offer definitely wasn't a "garbage low-ball" offer that you made it out to be. This is a UNDERCARD fighter that CAN'T sell and gets booed regularly. I like Farmer and think he's a quality fighter. And I don't have a problem with him trying to get a multi-fight deal with DAZN. However, the 2M offer was more than fair. But if DAZN is willing to pay Farmer more than that for a fight against Davis? Then that's perfectly fine. All he has to do is send a counter offer but LIS, that is not what he wants to do right now. I don't doubt he will fight Tank, but he will only do so if he has a guaranteed deal with a network even after the Tank fight.

If you are Hearn though, not sure if you want to re-sign Farmer, especially for what he will ask for. Keeping Farmer active hasn't helped one bit and it is obvious he is never going to gain a fan base of any sort. Hearn seemed kind of over the Farmer experiment after the last fight saying he wanted to see him push the action and go for the stoppage instead of paying it safe. But all along I think Hearn signed Farmer hoping to get Davis on DAZN. And 5M is a really good offer to Davis. If Farmer will only accept the fight on DAZN, then Davis needs to think long and hard at taking that fight. Really good pay day in a fight he will be favored in.

Who knows, maybe Hearn will give just that on DAZN. I wouldn't count that out. But Farmer didn't even make a counter offer making it known he has another plan...Ala get another multi-fight GUARANTEED deal with DAZN.

The reason Eddie signed Farmer was to lure Tank over. Notice Eddie only offered Tank a fight. He didn't offer Berchelt or Ito/Herring a fight. After Farmer said he wasn't fighting JoJo, Eddie put his ass on the undercard his last fight and now he's back begging to fight JoJo to get a deal with DAZN
