Kovalev just schooled Alvarez after a big KO loss, we have no idea how Yarde would do against a fighter like Alvarez or even the level below that.

There's always the tiny chance that Yarde is truly special and can just make a monumental jump in opposition and beat someone like Kovalev but I highly doubt it.
Dont have to be special to catch someone in first 2-3 rounds. It happens and it looks like Yarde can crack and Kovalev has been cracked twice

I don't have a pick but I edge Kovy based on experience and savviness. Yarde catching him and changing course of fight wouldn't shock me though

I expect Yarde to end the Criminal scum, too much speed and power for the old man! There’s only one Manny Pacquiao who can beat younger fighters consistently!

I give credit to the commie Soviet style Stalin, he can fight and box his àśś and is a future HOF!

Yarde will be brutally KO'd, hasn't fought the right opposition to prepare him for a boxer-puncher like The Krusher

No doubt. Frank/WBO has a very good stable of ranked fighters who 2 losses to top opposition and 24 wins vs journeymen. If Yarde wins and Kov retires, expect to see a load of new names in contention.

Who is this Mr. Yarde? I think I will favor Kovalev in this one.

I mean, it's pretty obvious that Kovalev is on the slide. That's why he's suddenly become a desired name to face.

It would be nice if Yarde cut off the ring, classy, but he can also make Kov run, work too hard. When Kov's back touches the ropes, that's where old men go.

Yarde hasn't fought anybody. 18 bums.

I still don't buy it, this is a huge step up in class for Yarde. Looking at Kovalev's training videos he looks as crap as ever (he's always looked like a club fighter in the gym, rather than anything world class, IMO), but if he's been taking this fight seriously then he should win quite easily. And why shouldn't Kovalev be taking it seriously, with a potential Canelo payday on the horizon? Home support won't hurt either.

John David Jackson says he spoke to Tunde, and told him that Yarde needs to do two things: go to the body, and get inside. Easier said than done. Yarde isn't slick like Ward...

                      Elieder Alvarez would stop Yarde
