Trouble is we don’t know how good yarde is yet because he’s been matched poorly
Big balls to go to Russia thoughwould be class if he could pull it off

Yards has fast hands and nice punch selections, but a little stiff with the legs. Changing angles with the legs is pivotal in avoiding long range shots, especially like those Kov likes to throw. If he can manage to fight Kov close, then he wins. Anything on the outside and he's stopped or out pointed.Comment

Agreed he is declining but he still has enough in the tank to beat Yarde imo.
Kovalev just schooled Alvarez after a big KO loss, we have no idea how Yarde would do against a fighter like Alvarez or even the level below that.
There's always the tiny chance that Yarde is truly special and can just make a monumental jump in opposition and beat someone like Kovalev but I highly doubt it.Comment

Sorry, we are now quoting Tommy Fury? ROTFL...Nice enough kid but come on. Kovalev should've beaten Alvarez the first fight, he underestimated him and chose to get into a firefight with a guy who has a pretty decent cannon. Notice the difference in the second fight. He is done though. He definitely isn't cracking with the right hand like he used to. Ironically, I wouldn't be surprised to see a more technical fight from him against Yarde.Comment
