Yes, we're solidly behind the guy who has singlehandedly brought attention and a lot of money to British boxing. And the reason why a lot of idle kids from working class areas in London are picking up boxing as a way to escape violence.

We want to see more of the brashness guys from London are known for. You can argue that he was born and raised in Watford but he did spend most of the formative years of his late teens in London. And he also started boxing in London. So he's a Londoner and one of us. AJ is from the endz and he needs to show more of that.

Keep talking AJ - fu..ck "stay humble" and keeping a lid on it. Speak your piece regardless of whose ox is gored.

If you're not blind, you'd see that the punch that changed the fight was the lucky temple shot that Ruiz threw in survival mode. The first left hook he threw caught AJ on the chin and it didn't bother him and AJ tried to land another big right and Ruiz just swung that left hook aimlessly. It was a lucky shot.

You know what isn't a lucky shot? The short counterpunch McCall landed on Lennox Lewis' chin that turned him into the Drunken Master after being out cold. Ditto the 1-2 from Hashim Rahman in the centre of the ring that sparked out Lennox. Now, those aren't lucky punches - they were perfectly timed. Also, the arsewhopping that Buster Douglas gave Mike Tyson wasn't a lucky punch.

If AJ had been the chinny type, he would've stayed down after that punch and most would be calling it a lucky punch today. But he showed heart and kept fighting despite the fact that his legs were gone. And that's what warriors do.

In the rematch, he's going to carry Ruiz to the 7th rd with his jab, occasional right and uppercut. Then after that, Ruiz is going to get brutally knocked out with a big hook.

I hope he does keep talking until another Ruiz "lucky" punch flattens him!

I don't think he's wrong - that temple shot screwed him up for good, however, he went from taking responsibility for the loss and showing great sportsmanship to acting more and more like a little btch. It's not a good look for him now.

Ruiz was never in "survival mode". That's just silly talk.

He just got knocked down for the first time in his career with an uppercut and a big left hook. Then another big right that would take anyone's head off landed on his chin with his head snapping back. And Aj was about to land another big right, he bobbed and weaved, then swung whilst doing it. That was survival mode.

Tell the fat Mexican to take his arse to Saudi Arabia in december and take the beating like a G. They'll send him a trailer load of snickers with the $9million he signed on the first contract.

AJ did land a big right when Ruiz got up but Ruiz ate that **** because he saw it coming.

I think it's because Ruiz has been talking a lot of crap. This is the AJ that gets the job done and the last time he was like this was against Breazeale.

That was angry Ruiz in your face mode. How the hell is that survival mode? Ruiz was attacking.
