Hatton doesnt want his mandatory so he vacates the title? Margarito is trying to hand pick his next oppoenent. Floyd has a date to fight but no opponent. Tarver got all kinds of exscuses not to fight Lacy.

Yes this is incredibly annoying as a fan. I really don't want to hear who wants to fight who etc. Simply inform us when the deals have been signed and then I will begin to express hope or opinions on the upcoming. Even after the deal is signed nowaday that doesn't mean the fight will come off. Weigh-ins injuries etc. I don't think I will get excited until the fighters exit their dressing rooms from now on.

Personally I'm tired of fans who are so quick to judge a fighters actions, I mean this is their life so they have to put a lot into the decisions they make(& there are a lot of factors that go into it that we're not even aware of), we should just be patient & wait until the official word before we start say "he ducking that guy" or "that guys a *****".

There should be more structure to the system I agree.......I don't see it ever changing though.

Hate it, the thing that's killing the sport.

Hatton not fighting Urkal is no bad thing, if he gets a better opponent. But yeah, fighters should fight. End of story.

I don't like hearing about pre-deal gossip because it leads to all of this he's ducking or he's a *****. The guys we are talking about are elite professional boxers. While a fighter might realize that he doesn't match up well against another, I don't think any fighter believes he is going to lose entering a fight (except for Tyson's opponents pre-Buster Douglas). Fighers managers, promoters, even family influence their decisions. I simply want to see good fights. Seeing a good fight get made in boxing today is like seeing sausage get made... I might like the final product but I don't want to see how it gets made.

Point taken, but We don't know the factors that go into those decision; money, possible bigger fights, or fear, all that's just speculation cause your not at the negotiation table, so why comment on it?

Thats the trouble today. Fighters don't want to fight anymore! Champs look for easy opponents when they should be fighting the best.
