According to the travel.state.gov website Saudi Arabia has a travel advisory of level 2 and it specifically pertains to towns close to the Yemen border.

The UK, Germany, and France are also level 2, as is Mexico (though Mexicos advisory is far more comprehensive). Places that are truly dangerous like North Korea have advisory levels of 3 and 4.

That's what I tried to tell them that Ruiz reason (if he finally gives one publicly) is B.S.

He doesn't want to fight in SA but yet he wants to fight in Mexico.

Hearn should just take him to court, sue him, ruin him and be done with it.

I don't even think Ruiz gives a **** himself. I think he's being pushed by Hayman, Showtime, and Fox.

That if you think Ruiz is a fat bum, that rationale should indicate that while Joshua is in shape, he is a lesser fighter, thus, an even worse bum.

But I guess you agree because you didn’t have any objections to me calling Joshua an in shape bum. So, we’re on the same page.

Interesting. That would seem to be a very valid point being made by Warren despite those that may disagree with it. If your government suggests its not a safe place to travel should you be in breach of the deal if you don't go.

Or is this as I kinda expect just a means to get more money for going to a place your country advises you to not go to.

I suspect the latter is more correct, but who knows. I just figure they is a move being made here more than Andy doesn't wanna fight Joshua again as many Joshuaities suggest comically.

according to boxrec, there's been all of two pro boxing events in that country, going back at least to 2000, which is when I stopped looking. The first was The Groves vs Smith fight last yr, the second being Khan's pearl belt show. For the Khan card, they have the commission listed as "Non-sanctioned show." For the Smith vs Groves event there's not even an entry for any commission. Did they have the BBBoC commission the show for them, maybe? sounds vaguely familiar.
If there's a Saudi boxing commission that'll be officiating the card, they are, at least from what i see on boxrec, completely inexperienced with holding, not even an event of this magnitude, but pro boxing events in general. If all that is the case, I'd think AJ should be just as leery of taking a fight that is this important to his future career, as Ruiz is. Just seems like a risky place for the fight, with a high potential for things to go wrong due to all the inexperience that'd be involved, and therefore the possibility of any number of controversy. But, maybe there is another country in charge?

When Hearn got the contract approved by the IBF he went right to the announcing the event ,so nothing strange about a brief presser when it was a message to A side to not play games.

Is it really hard to take Ruiz belts away ? No because the IBF decided it first before any court proceedings ,they can vote to do that if no compliance is done by certain date.
