How Often Has A Fight Been Confirmed For A Still Unbuilt Venue?

But my main question is how often has this happened in the past & less about breaking Eddie's balls on this whole situation.

Feel like they constructed some bs ass stadium for some Dempsey or Johnson HW fight waaaaay back in the day.

And I feel like one of Ali's fights had a situation like this, but maybe not.

And of course there is the often talked about Vegas stadium that Arum was talking about but the thing with that is that never actually came to pass so that doesn't even count.

The alleged 12,000 seat venue for Joshua vs Ruiz II on Dec. 7 hasn't even begun being constructed from my understanding.

How common is this for fights that actually happened and when was the last time you are aware this happened?

So the building of a stadium like this seems like a fairly whatever-ish type thing based on Pigeons post with all those 80s fights and this post despite an air of sketchiness with this whole deal. I feel like the Saudi Arabia angle makes it feel even a lil more sketchy than it otherwise might.

I think theyll be going for some sort of picturesque sitting. Check out photos of Diriyah, its an ancient town. Put some temporary stands in there. Be a hell of a backdrop, all lit up and ****.
