I would rather compare the (2) fighters open for debate and their best wins on their resume at welterweight, Spence and Crawford. So Spence’s win against Brook, a true welterweight who had only 1 loss going into that fight against GGG, moving up in weight is a better win at welterweight than anybody Crawford fought at welterweight. And if Spence beats Porter, his resume is even stronger at welterweight.

The Brook win is a little stronger win than Crawford’s win against Horn. Most on this forum would suggest Brook who had already beat Shawn Porter when he fought Spence, is a better win than Crawford against Horn, who I believe is highly over rated. If you want to throw the only other notable welterweight that Crawford fought, although after having (4) losses, Amir Khan, I would throw in Spence’s wins against Chris Algieri (former champion at welterweight) and Lamont Peterson, (former champion at welterweight). Both are also true welterweights. And Crawford wouldn’t have knocked out Mikey Garcia either so stop it with that narrative. He hasn’t even fought anyone on Mikey Garcia’s level yet in his career. Mikey is a very good boxer and a tough out for anybody in the welterweight division.

Sorry, I totally disagree. Crawford, no questions would have TKO'd Mikey. IMO, Crawford would of been in no mood to show the boxing community his ability to out box & use IQ vs Mikey. By the 9th or 10th round, Bud would have turned up some serious dog heat pressure and earned the stoppage vs Mikey. Something Spence wasn't interested in doing vs Mikey.

Yeah aight. Peterson gave it to Spence and Spence had few answers early on. Porter is WAY worse and doesn't gas nearly as easily.

I really want to see how well Spence can handle the linebacker. That's how we'll know how good Spence is.
