Go rewatch the fight again on YouTube. You're Lennox fan and obviously you probably saw what you wanted to see in that fight back then. Bruno was tagging Lennox all night and before the punch that turned the tide - Bruno was ahead on points.
And didn't Lennox get knocked out cold with one punch in the 2nd rd, two fights after that fight? WHo gets knocked out in the 2nd rd with one punch by a guy who wasn't even a great puncher?
granted Lennox chi.nk in armour was a failure to maintain concentration at times. Sometimes he thought too much.
i dont get this issue with bruno - he was a world title level guy, hes supposed to have difficulty with him. Brunos best win is Oliver McCall, who is the guy oyu are harking on about beating Lewis. Circular reasoning.Last edited by DreamFighter; 08-15-2019, 09:16 AM.

I am a Lewis fan, I also like Bruno, just calling it how I see it. Bruno started faster and was doing well, but rounds 5 and 6 Lewis had that jab timed and there was a momentum shift in the fight with Bruno’s eye almost shut and not able to see the jab coming.
To say he was beating the brakes off Lewis is like saying khan was beating the brakes of Alvarez. He started fast but you could clearly see the point when Alvarez got his timing off and the fight changed. At the time of the stoppage one judge had it to Bruno the other two had it level at 3 rounds each, so my mistake there.
It’s such a lame point to attack someone’s greatness by sayibg they were getting beat in a fight before they ultimately won. I’ve seen it with Gamboa v Crawford and many others. But surely it’s a sign of greatness to make adjustments and overcome adversity to pull out the win.
I don’t even know what the whole, two fights later this happened to Lewis, has to do with analysing Lewis vs Bruno??

Ok, so I’m about to say something controversial. Disclaimer, I am not a fan of Lewis or Joshua. I only see (2) GREAT wins on the entire resume of Lewis, and I mean GREAT with respect to him defeating Hall of Fame Fighters. Holyfield and Klitschko. A lot of people would give him 3 if you count Tyson who was 36 when they fought and had already lost to Holyfield twice and Buster Douglas.
With Joshua, he has only beaten (1) future HOF’er, Wladimir Klitschko, but that was after Wladimir was out of the ring for 1 year and 5 months, coming off a loss to Fury, and was 41. I don’t see any other GREAT wins on Joshua’s resume “YET.” I see (1) good win against Parker and maybe (2) if you count Whyte when both were early in there careers when Whyte had 16 fights and Joshua had 14 fights heading into their fight. Edge to Lennox right now. But Joshua’s career is still being determined. He is still young.

He beat Whyte, Parker, Povetkin and Wlad. The only decent boxers on Lennox's resume at this stage of his career were Razor Ruddock and Tony Tucker, and both weren't all that tbh. Ruddock is more of a Takam and I don't even know how to rate Tucker tbh.
You don’t know anything about boxing

This is not restricted to Sugar Ray Robinson as you are no doubt aware.
Calling it unfair the one time it goes in favour of a guy you don't like seems a bit soft to me.

Idiots are comparing the career of a guy who's about to hit his prime at just 29 years old (24 fights in) - with the career of a retired boxer when Lennox didn't unify until he turned 34 and became a unified/undisputed champion at 35 (after 37 fights).
