The belt is tied to the Champ not the event. If that were the case Canelo would still have his belt for the next event.

    You're ******ed
That another lie. The exemption goes for both parties bc the winner takes the date anointed date of the championship in title fights ,Joshua is the challenger so he gets the back date if he wins under IBF rules.

Canelo wasn't binded to a contract ,fool. Ha

If the winner gets an exemption why are they not exempt from fighting Pulev next?

So what did Hearn say that the rematch clause doesn't say outside of Dec 7 in SA? Nothing! Didn't Ruiz specifically say that he hadn't signed anything nor agreed to anything? Yep. Bye bye

That's what im saying they both fight Pulev if either win but Pulev himself doesn't replace Joshua with your crazy expired date. The belts all of them are tied into the rematch clause ,the exemption was to let the fight go on and that's evidence of a contract from Hearn that had to be approved so your arguing with yourself here.

He has to believe that Joshua has some right to those titles and can't fathom that rematches are contracts to fight not contracts to get titles. Some of these posters are sickened at the thought that if Ruiz gets stripped of the IBF or WBO, Joshua has to start from scratch to get his titles back. But hey...they know better than Ruiz team and Hearn. Some of them are saying the fight is planned to be in SA because of money even though Hearn says it isn't.

What do you mean he doesn't replace Joshua? Are you saying if the fight doesn't happen by Dec 7th AJ & Pulev will fight for the IBF?

But Andy Ruiz hasn't denied signing a contract that gives Eddie Hearn the power to stage the rematch wherever he wants..
All you hear is Andy Ruiz say he's the A side so the fight is happening on his terms....
                  Well that's not good enough!
It was good enough when AJ had 3 belts negotiating with Wilder tho? Hyprocrites!

waits for the IBF to seize this opportunity to grandstand, with both hands... and enthusiastically proceed to fcuk everything up at heavyweight... just like they did last time... and just like they did at middleweight

then waits for the ret4rd casuals to chime in and support the ******ity

I don't think he understands how the process of enforcing a mandatory and subsequently stripping a fighter works.
