So that's all I'm saying. If he signed the contract then he should honor it.
If he didn't sign a contract that gives Eddie the power to choose a rematch location then hell yeah Andy Ruiz should have a say so on where the rematch is held!
Understand now???
Andy is risking a lot, just as he did in the fight. Team AJ/hearn is relying on everything but honor, dignity, and fighting ability to force the man into a corner ... just as they did the first time around. Ruiz overcame all of that in the ring.
If you wanna whoop Ruiz, make a new contract (a fairer one), concede that you got beat, make some concessions and get the fight on. Whining and playing legalese will make AJ look even worse than the four knockdowns did ...Last edited by MastaBlasta; 08-15-2019, 12:32 AM.

Legally, there may be a price to pay, but no one can turn back time and remove the championships. Images of AJ going down will live forever. And AJ's legacy won't improve by tying up the better man with unsavory, ill-advised contract advantages he forced on him whiile AJ was champ.

Now I get everything you're saying and I agree with you to an extent.
But I'm also the type of man that once a contract is signed by both parties then it should be honored by both parties.
I believe it's part of being a man and honoring what you agreed to when you signed the contract.
I understood Andy feels he's entitled to more money and dictating some time the negotiations since he pretty much dominated AJ and that's why he's holding out.
But in my view if he really did sign a rematch contract when he signed the original contract then he should honor it without expecting more than what he already agreed to...
I guess you and me are gonna disagree on this issue. And it's okay cause nothing wrong with wanting more money but to me a man's word and honor is worth more than money.
But that's just me though.

He hasn’t, as far as we know, told Ruiz not to fight AJ ... Ruiz has clearly said AJ gets his rematch.
Telling someone there’s a travel advisory to the entire country of the USA warning about unsafe conditions in Saudi Arabia isn’t interfering with a contract.

Anthony Joshua v Ruiz ( Delay in fight )
I have a close friend linked to Joshua's Camp and he's keeping very quiet about this whole affair but what he did say was that like any other title Fight the Champion had clauses in the contract stating that should the Champ lose that he would be entitled to an automatic Re Match and that must be the New champions First fight !! Included was also how the money would be divided between the 2 camps ? What I also asked was should Ruiz's team try to delay the rematch what would happen and someone told me that should the rematch be delayed for too long as considered by the boards that Ruiz could have all the titles removed from him and that Joshua would have to fight who ever selected by the Boards for the vacant titles.. which is normally the ranked #1 v #2. So I would be surprised if Ruiz's camp trys to delay for too long and should He retain the titles then his team will be able to put what Clauses he wants in future title Defencies !! But I'm going for Anthony Joshua to regain the titles by stoppage in 6 rounds...
