Lol, that is hilarious, he has to pay promoter's cut and taxes for every fight, would you prefer to do it on $1 to 2M or $5M.
You earn more, sure you pay more, but you still keep more. Whats the alternative, how is getting paid less going to help anything?Comment

I'm thinking, if they are paying Farmer 2 mil, Showtime must be paying Davis at least 8, knowing DAZN offered him 5.
I don't see Floyd promoting for DAZN, or even giving his time. Hearn isn't good enough to promote Davis alone in the States. Otherwise, I think they'd take the fight, if Matchroom was the sole promoter.Comment

You really think Showtime are offering Tank $8m? Wilder's purse vs Fury was $4m apparently. No way I see Showtime paying what dazn offered Tank, dazn are overpaying to get him over, Showtime aren't throwing money around like them.I'm thinking, if they are paying Farmer 2 mil, Showtime must be paying Davis at least 8, knowing DAZN offered him 5.

Then Davis should be smart and go to DAZN and Matchroom. I would.
This is a brutal sport. Make your money and leave. After Farmer, maybe DAZN can offer Loma and Davis 15 mil each, for Cinco de Mayo 2020. Even GGG is making 16 mil to fight cans there.
I don't see Davis staying in boxing more than 4 more years.Comment

I agree with your sentiment about making your money and getting out. I just fear that there are too many promoters and advisers in fighters ears with obvious conflicts of interests looking out for their own business and getting fighters short changed. Then Davis should be smart and go to DAZN and Matchroom. I would.
