Well maybe he was happy at Top Rank. Why should that be an issue? Nobody else in Boxing has a problem with who is under whos banner. Fights get made. No fighter should be told they have to leave their promoter to sign with the PBC if they want to fight for belts or fight certain people.

There is nothing wrong with the PBC and Fox or Showtime getting the rights to a fight like that but thats not what is being asked of Bud Crawford they are demanding he leaves Toprank and joins the PBC.

I judge a boxer by all his recent fights not just one fight, I could not ever rank Porter as the best welterweight in the world because he is not good enough. He is a good fighter but not that good. He is in his thirties now and not likely to improve much. He is an even match for Danny Garcia or Thurman and not as good as Spence or Crawford and he is a 4 to 1 underdog to Spence. I think Spence will beat him up and knock him out. If Porter somehow manages to beat Spence he is still Porter and not as good as Crawford.
