Usually when a guy signs with a new team they go in different directions then previous planned. The Usyk fight wasn’t going to happen until late in the fall. His new team will want to showcase him on their promotions before then. He is now in the US so some matchups could be made with other US promoters. I don’t think the new team wants to start him off with a loss & they are not in control of the promotion...
