There are 2 black fighters who were ppv superstars, Tyson and Mayweather, so in reality, there have only been about 5 guys who can claim they were ppv mega stars. 2 are black, one is Mexican, one is Mexican American, and 1 is phillipino.

I'm baffled how people like you have made Mikey Garcia into this huge superstar. Coming into the fight, NOTHING showed that he was another level than Spence name value wise....NOTHING. But after the fight because the fight did well at the gate and on PPV, he is somehow this HUGE star? Huh?

And what kind of support has Mikey been getting that Spence hasn't been getting? He wasn't doing better ratings than Spence nor doing better at the gate than Spence. I'm not saying Spence was much bigger than him heading into the fight...Because he wasn't. They were pretty much on equal footing.

Spence vs Mikey sold 360k. Which was a success imo. Spence vs Porter will probably sell 100-150k, and that would be a flop.

The spectacle of the event is what made the numbers what they were. How after the fight it all became because of Mikey was mind blowing. Than you had people that didn't even attend the fight trying to say the crowd mainly all Mikey fans...when those that were actually there disputed that.
