But I’m talking about in the modern day boxing, mexicans have no one on pay per view consistently .
of course I had to go back almost 30 yrs, that's when Chavez was in his prime and fighting. You're just getting mad because you were proven wrong. You said Chavez wasn't on PPV consistently and I just gave you mtioke ppv fights he was involved in. As for Oscar, aside from Floyd, his biggest ppv was vs Trinidad who is puerto Rican and then Pacquiao who is phiilpino. Hopkins vs Oscar sold less than those 2. Now I'm not a fan of many Mexican (mainly Mexican American) boxing fans. I think they're delusional and are a reason why someone like Canelo became a diva. Because he knows his fans will support him blindly. But to deny their loyalty in supporting their own is foolish.

And what kind of support has Mikey been getting that Spence hasn't been getting? He wasn't doing better ratings than Spence nor doing better at the gate than Spence. I'm not saying Spence was much bigger than him heading into the fight...Because he wasn't. They were pretty much on equal footing.

So tell me, what would you consider a flop for this fight?
Mikey is not a superstar but he had way more fans than Spence in his own home town. Majority of that crowd was pro-Mikey. Denying that is ****** and a dumb argument.

Mexican fan base is a myth and you know it
Well good for you! I don't get involved in all that ppv business cause I'm not making no money off it and neither are you so IDK why you get all excited over it... 😆

I said Chavez Jr wasn’t, that’s who I thought you were referring to since we were talking about MODERN DAY boxing, you were the one who went back 30 years to Chavez and back 10 years to De La Hoya to prove your irrelevant point. Oscar De La Hoya’s biggest PPV event came against a black boxer, not a Mexican. Julio Cesar Chavez couldn’t even hit a million PPV buys and his were selling for $29.99 LMAO

LMAO! He headlined in LA for the first time and crushed any Mexican who fought there recently in terms of ticket sales, not even tacohead Mikey Garcia came close.

Spence vs Porter in LA is next in line to demonstrate that black boxers run LA, Mexican boxing is dead and their fan base is a myth.

And where’s your proof of this? Mikey fought in Texas three times and sold 5k against Lopez, 5k against Martinez and 7k against Lipinets. Absolutely horrendous crowds. Errol Spence headlined his first main event in Texas and it has a sell out crowd of 12k. That crowd in the Spence vs Garcia fight was pro-Errol, mexican fan base weak asf

Majority of the crowd was for Mikey? Even though those that attended said that was not the case?

All people actually at the fight. All these myths stated after the fight have been something else.

Solid Card, still think it could've been on FOX and been a Big Ratings Event

Porter does nothing for me as a fighter he most certainly not a PPV caliber fighter especially coming off of that Ugas which in which most including myself thought he lost

FOX Network will carry this one, they will run Promos during the NFL Season which will help it do DECENT Numbers but not as good as Mikey Garcia fight

Speaking of Mikey, his next event will out-perform this one for sure if rumors are true about what they might be working on...
