I’m asking that if any other promoter did this, would you and everyone else be sticking up for him? Or would some of you perhaps have some questions pertaining to a 100 million dollar boxing match taking place in a building that’s yet to be built, being put on by a promotional company who’s never put on a boxing match, or have a website, or anything. And a “press conference” that involves none of the fighters.


Two weeks ago 100% of the board laughed at Saudi’s bidding on any fights. They do it often, but it never goes anywhere (Usyk/Gassiev for example) But suddenly now Saudi Arabia is the next boxing hot bed.

You think if Al Haymon/PBC or Bob Arum actually announced a fight there because the Arabs were fronting 30-40 mil to host the event everyone would be like "nah not possible"? Would you have been shocked to see someone like Floyd taking a exhibition match over there for some of that oil money?
