I mean Pacquiao definitely beat Thurman clearly, although it was close and I do agree that those compubox stats were off. It seemed like some of Manny's punches weren't being counted and Thurman was being credited for punches that didn't really land. At least that's what it seemed like when watching it live.

BUT, Floyd clearly beat Manny and I hope you don't think otherwise or else I can't say we see eye to eye lol.

That would have been the only fight Marquez legitimately lost (possibly other then the first) atleast in my eyes, had it gone the distance. Ironically, it was the only fight he won due to a perfectly timed punch.
      yea man

      high risk, high reward

I'd pay to know what was going on in Marquez head in the 4th fight.

Did Marquez still believe he'll win by outdoing manny if it goes the distance. Did Marquez think he needs to stop manny because manny was on the way to f**king him up

or did Marquez simply capitalize on an opportunity to clap manny and lay him out

I think the plan was to knock him out.

He was less cautious in the fourth fight, came out guns blazing and scored a knockdown. Then he left himself open to suffer a knockdown, so it was evident what his intention was. Ironically he was probably going to lose had it gone the distance because of it, but the gameplan ultimately panned out.

It seemed as though that right hand was rehearsed, it was perfectly timed and Manny walked right into it. Marquez set the trap and Manny was layed out cold.

compubox is always inaccurate. thats my point. if we went by compubox castillo beat floyd. thurman beat manny. etc...

and no floyd didnt clearly beat pac. pac actually should have won if you review the fight round by round. pac had the quality flush shots and floyds punches came up short, barely grazed pac, were straight arm push offs(not legal), were open glove push punches(not legal) it was still close but in 7 rounds pac clearly had the better shots so why would we give them to floyd? because he has a reputation as a boxing genius? still gotta put in the better work and he didnt. if he gave people the impression that he was winning and played on their bias' then well done to him but yeah the punches should tell the story and he didnt win that story.
