Prime = at the peak of someone's career

This is whole nonsense that a prime fighter has to be between the ages 26 and 30 or something to that effect is hilarious. By this definition then Fernando Vargas must've been in his prime at 28, but is that true? Absolutely not

Anytime I say prime I'm referring to athletic prime for a man. Mid to late 20s early 30s. Yes injuries can remove someone from their prime(Bo Jackson). 36 year old past prime Hopkins was better than Trinidad. But not better than the 31/32 year old version of himself. 36 year old Floyd no matter how much wiser is not better than 31 year old Floyd. Fernando Vargas got the prime beat out of him(brain injury)

Prime in boxing is about wasting it by fighting un-ending line of cans.

Prime is when the fighter I support wins.

Past prime is when the fighter I support loses.

And that's exactly why I go by age because people cherry pick.

Physical prime can vary but it's usually thought to be late twenties to early thirties for men. This is the time your body is functioning at his highest efficiency. and strength.
If you're injured you're obviously not in prime condition until the injury heals.

Your prime is 25-29. Anyone trying to argue otherwise is delusional. Look at how fast boxers deteriorate at the ages 30-34

I would say 27 you just start entering your prime. 30 is probably peak. Then after 34 you start going downhill.
