I have a feeling Corey is a decent person and Kevin Cunningham goes a LONG way towards alienating people that otherwise might become fans of the kid. Cunningham is OBVIOUSLY an ignorant man

Good writeup Ice, don't think I've had the pleasure of really reading one of your post before. Agreed completely.

And it's a shame because Marion may not be the smartest, he is very classy and is always respectful. He isn't a bad guy at all I don't think and while his entrance antics may be embarassing, he is a stand up guy. Shame that he is represented by such a brash, arrogant, outlandish guy like Cunningham.

I was a guest on a world wide web boxing interview show last night (fight to the finish) and the host talked to me about he whole Spinks-Cunningham-Rivera situation and he pretty much agreed with all that I said (he read both my interview and the one with Kevin). It looks as though Corey will NOT be fighting Mayweather, despite Kevin saying it was "99 percent a done deal," so where doe he go from here? Rivera-Spinks could be a VERY GOOD fight and a great attraction, a unification fight.

I hate to say it because I don't really like Judah, but he did put Cunningham in his place after he knocked Spinks out in St. Louis by running over and planting a nice kiss on his head. Funny.

Spinks is one of the luckiest fighters known to humankind. He got a gift against Mayorga and I never saw the Karmazin fight, but he was lucky to even be there in that fight at all.

I think Corey is a cool kid and a good fighter... but Kevin... that guy is kind of an idiot if you ask me.

That was mad disrespectful the way Cunningham was talking. He's trying to hype up Cory Spinks when he hasn't beaten an A level fighter yet. If Cunningham wants to talk, then he should be brave enough to stick his fighter in there with Rivera. Don't sing it, bring it. If he believes in Spinks as much as he talks, then let him unify the titles with Rivera. With De La Hoya, Quartey, Mosley at 154, no one gives a **** about Spinks' title. If he wants to get some respect, let Spinks prove himself. If he beats Rivera, then he gets all those big fights that they beg for.
