To be honest I don’t feel safe in either country when I listen to amnesty international, I don’t want to be shot randomly, nor do I want to encounter any ********* act. The chance of me getting shot in America is probably higher than been blown up in Saudi Arabia to be honest.Comment

I feel that regardless of where this fight ends up, someone somewhere will scream "bias", "theft", or "stacked judges and ref". I will stay out of the politics side myself, as this is a boxing site and I am sure not a single solitary person came here to discuss middle eastern country governments. I want the rematch. There are so many important story lines here. But I do want to ensure that there is no huge controversies that sprout out of the rematch. Ruiz deserves and has earned the right to have the fight in conditions that allow for him to be completely at ease to defend the titles he earned. Joshua deserves the right to try and prove that one bad night is not his legacy.
I just do not think Joshua wants to fight in the US again. Bad juju and all. Obviously, he will not allow it in Mexico (Gawd, that would be so much fun to see though, wouldn't it?).
Ruiz should absolutely dig in his heels about not fighting in the United Kingdom. He is the champ now. He should not have to deal with 55,000 fans of the challenger cheering everything Joshua does right to sway the judges. (The same reason Mexico is out from the Joshua side.)
So long as respected judges are agreed upon by both parties and a fair ref is awarded this match, I see Saudi Arabia as a decent compromise. There will be a ton of money for a huge fight, and honestly where else could be a fairer situation for both? Other places in Europe? Canada? Japan? Could any of those locations offer this much fanfare, money, or even be interested? This is not perfect, but honestly I could find problems for any venue anywhere. Just get it signed, and let's get the fight going.Comment

I'm amazed that Hearn is seriously trying to sell Saudi Arabia as a venue.
Their human rights record is shocking, women are totally oppressed and as for the gays...
So sad that Boxing seems to have no moral compass at all - just a perverse lust for more $$$
Joshua has shown his true colors as well - just a house ****** for Hearn.Comment
