You could tell most American don’t really travel, so it would make zero difference here. Just having some conversation with them and you can tell how ignorant they are really. Hopefully the venue doesn’t change, it’s American mentality that need to change. They sound backward most of the time. And yes I have an American brother. Same mentality (Backwards).

My post was speaking in general with respect to US fight fans. And when I was in the gym this afternoon, I saw a video where Bernard Hopkins and Oscar said the same thing. I get it why the venue is there. Again, I just don’t think most Americans would travel over there to see it.

I don't think team Joshua is worried about U.S fans more then profit and still going global. The U.S market here doesn't reflect Joshua ,who wil and always was going to be a U.K based fighter with fights here and there outside the U.K.

Joshua also has a very strong following in Saudi Arabia ,hes a global star more then he is here .

True and I wouldn’t necessarily disagree with anything you said. I would say though that Joshua should care about being more global from a monetary aspect future wise. And a fight and a win in Mexico, Ruiz’s turf, would have been better and put him on a different career trajectory based on the additional attention and respect he would have gotten. The fact is, he still hasn’t won a major fight yet on US soil or really anywhere else but the UK.

The fact that you as an American has experienced travelling is shocking, you sound so soft and ignorant. No a bad thing, which pointing out how you seems from your post.

This is a major event, I have never been to Saudi Arabia nor do I want to, but whenever we have heard of major events happening in countries that aren’t “Cool” we always have this sort of overreactions.

And looking back in history those events always go through without any issues, all this “Am scared for my family BS” is plain ignorant. Am always scared to come to America due to guns and stuffs but I had to visit my equally American/Ignorant brother six times (Arizona/Scottsdale), whilst he has been to the UK once in 20 years.

Not sure why you guys are soooo soft, must be something in the water.

It won't stop him, the sanctioned bodies will just put them up for grabs and Joshua will get them one by one while Ruiz bleeds money with a court ordering him to resolve it while sanctioning bodies force him to vacate and possibilities of not being able to fight unless it's in non champion contests, the fat boy will only hurt himself financially.

First of all, I didn’t say anything about Americans or myself being “scared” to travel there. I personally haven’t been scared to travel anywhere. But there are some known issues over there and have been for “many” years. There is a reason why this past June, the U.S. military began moving equipment and hundreds of troops back to a military base in Saudi Arabia that the U.S. deserted more than 15 years ago, according to two U.S. officials familiar with that deployment.
