The magnitude of this fight appears to have diminished a bit since they announced this. It seems to have lost its luster, it almost has an exhibition vibe to it. Maybe it's Americentrism, but I think they made a mistake not staging it in Las Vegas.

Maybe Eddie Hearn couldn't risk the Vegas crowd being 90% in support of Andy. It does seem like Eddie is cashing out. I don't think he screws over DAZN USA like this unless he feels deep down that AJ is going to get KO again regardless of the venue.

DAZN are still going to show it. It will still be primetime in the US.

      Why would DAZN care?

Personally, I quite like the idea of a different venue. Take boxing around the world. Film the documentary. We'll all watch regardless.

Has this been confirmed? In order for the main event to be on at prime time in the US(9PM PST), the fight would have to start at 7:00AM in Saudia Arabia. Highly unlikely.

The fight likely will be streamed on DAZN in the United States, although that deal has not yet been finalized, a source told ESPN. DAZN, which carried the first fight, pressed for the rematch to be in New York but would pay eight figures less with the fight in Saudi Arabia than New York because of the seven-hour time difference, the source said.

It's a SKY PPV. It's going to be primetime in the UK

That's not a press conference with the fighters. That's a press conference with Saudi officials giving more details.

I don’t think DAZN puts that tweet out unless it’s a done deal.

Yeah I'm going to wait, something does seem kinda off about this announcement. I don't now if it is a bluff to get Andy to give in to Cardiff and instead make the Rumored up to $15 Million if he goes to the UK not really sure. Eddie been promising "Announcement This Week" for a damn Month Now

It is a TON of questions to be answered for sure

Arabs won’t keep their word and pay up anyway.

                  Khan still hasn’t gotten paid.

Not buying this. The Saudi's pull this **** all the time. They bid on all of the WBSS fights last year and then sold the finals to the Russians.

If Hearn tells them to why wouldn't they tweet it?
