Deontay Wilder's power is grossly overrated

You can argue Wilder’s skills, perso ality, lack of big time drawing power (though its making less sense now with that) and pretty much anything..but his power is undeniable. Its literally the only thing you cant ignore. Sure, his “windmill” style sometimes is off putting..sure, maybe his lack of class skills (despite him improving) led him to not be able to cleanly land until later in the fights...but the man can flatline you all night long. His power is such that when you think Deontay you think power.
Cant even have a fantasy fight without going “yeah but if he lands the right hand clean...”
Stop hating man. Hate on his lack of refinement or somethin’

His right hand is the hardest 1 punch in boxing history imo. This is coming from a Brit who isn't a fan of Wilder.
If you listen to boxers who spar with Wilder they tend to say the same thing. There was an interview with the guy that supposedly KOed Joshua in sparring. Really cool dude from Philly I think. Anyway he'd sparred with Joshua, Wilder and Wlad. He rated their power scoring AJ an 7, Wlad a 8/9 and Wilder a 10.
Sure this is just one guys opinion but considering Wlad was a huge puncher it says a lot about Wilder.Last edited by Mushroom; 08-09-2019, 10:39 AM.

You can try and down him all you want buddy but one things for sure your looking at all natural freakish power which is why he's the most hated among people that's not of color.its just awesome genetics what can I tell ya.

Wilder's right hand is legit. When others are getting stoppages he is putting people to sleep.
He connected cleanly twice against Fury and we saw what happened.
To say that his power is grossly overrated is just ignorant.
