Thurman beat Porter, which is by the way Mannys sparring partner back then..If not only because of his age. Manny will murder porter. Right now and at 40 I think its even.

I agree bud. Thurman has more of a case than Manny as it would of been a draw or Thurman win if not for the knock down early so I can see where Thurman is coming from but in Mayweathers fight it wasn't even close, Floyd won comfortably. Its Manny's right for turning down Thurman's request but then stop calling for the Mayweather rematch.

Pacquiao wants a rematch because he was injured. They wanted to postpone the fight but they know it took them 5 years to get Floyd to sign a contact and no guarantee that he would accept a postponement. He had shoulder surgery right after the Floyd fight. If you don’t believe the injury look at his right jab and hooks the last three fights compared to the Mayweather fight even at 40 already. I know TMT wants that check but it comes with a bigger risk this time.

I agree 100% but Manny has no intention of retiring. That said, he's smart. It appeared that Manny was being added to the PBC stable as meal ticket for the younger, hungry welterweights, food for the pack so to speak.

Thurman was meant to be the 1st of many but Pacquiao had other plans. When the bell rang he went from pray to predator, the the hunted to the hunter.

IMO Manny beats both Garcia's, they have a habit of waiting and Manny's work rate and power will be too much, he's been in with better more accurate fighters.

In the end, I agree with you. I would really like to see Manny step away from the sport, he's done more than anyone, he's done enough.

I don't care about a Thurman rematch and even less a Horn one which was a robbery. At least the Bradley fought his way to a rematch after that dubious first fight.

The real fight is against the Porter/Spence winner or Bud.

But I would take any of the Garcias at this point in Manny's career.

Any of those two guys are better than a Khan or Horn match.

spence and crawford will give pac that L into retirement. best fights out there are danny garcia or porter if porter can pull off the win against spence.

Not so sure! Manny knows Mikey = Money! Manny said they went to Spence vs. Garcia, to scout Garcia, not Spence! Manny knows those fans were mostly Mikey fans too! For the right price, I think Mikey takes that fight! Mikey probably didn't go the DSG route because the money wasn't where he wants it! PBC can't afford to make Garcia vs. Garcia a PPV! He won't have that problem with Pacquiao!

PAC vs SPENCE at Cowboy stadium is the biggest fight for PAC. The GARCIA'S won't bring in those numbers for PAC.
