Eric Gomez does not deny Canelo isn't speaking to him and Oscar

Asked directly and never denied it. He goes on to say people are going to write whatever and is to tiresome to respond to it. Well, he had the opportunity to deny it right here and set the record straight and he didn't.

You are right, he could have denied it but he didn't.

“Oscar and I spoke to him on the phone [Monday],” Gomez said. “We are fine. There is a lot of lies and misinformation out there. But we are working with Canelo, his team and the team at DAZN to make his next fight.”
That was from Kevin Iole's article on Tuesday.

That was the day or around the time they met with Canelo and his lawyers. Of course they spoke with him then

If that's what you take away from that then run with it.

Canelo needs to drop these clowns as soon as possible and go sign with the PBC. Someone who would have his best interest at heart.

Oscar is now only looking after his own ass after promising DAZN; Fools gold that he will deliver a third fight between Canelo and Golovkin which he never had any intentions of doing. Just in order to secure his own separate and independent deal with DAZN.

In addition, when you couple that with the fact, that Canelo was left hanging in the wind about his next mandatory defense and was stripped of a title belt that he just recently won; Was a complete dereliction of duty by Golden Boy and the icing on the cake for him.

What makes it even worse is that Oscar chose to takes sides with his matchmaker over his golden goose, meal ticket and cash cow Canelo Alvarez publicly. I've never seen any shit like this before.

To throw his lottery ticket under the bus like that by public humiliating him is just unheard of. It's very strange to say the least. I believe that Oscar deliberately and secretly blindsided Canelo by undermining him with DAZN by having him stripped of his IBF title.

Obviously, Oscar no longer has Canelo's best interest at heart. He's jealous because DAZN went out of their way to sign an exclusive contract deal with Saul Alvarez which did not include him. De La Hoya had to sign his own an independent deal with DAZN so now he and Alvarez are rivals.

By default DAZN is now Canelo's promoter and not Oscar De La Hoya. Therefore, they get to decide which fights they choose to stream and which opponents they want Canelo to fight, since they are the ones who are paying him $365mil.

The stripping Canelo's IBF title was an obvious attempt by DAZN; In concert and association with Golden Boy Promotions to punish Ginger for refusing to voluntarily fight Gennady Golovkin for a third time. Therefore, Oscar sold him out.

They're getting $18 mil a year from DAZN now. Not saying they don't need Canelo but they aren't as reliant on him as they were in the past. They weren't getting anywhere near that with HBO. They're now in position to play hardball with Canelo.

You are absolutely right. It's almost as if they are rivals now. To tell you the truth; Canelo really doesn't need Oscar or Golden Boy anymore because they are no longer paying him for his services but DAZN is. Saul Alvarez has now have become an officially independent contractor.
