At one point Stevenson nearly had Gvozdyk's number. He'll make me a believer if he can win against Beterbiev. My money says Beterbiev wins it.
This will tell a lot about both guys. Definitely a FOTY candidate. Add in the political drama (Ukraine vs Russia), I'm not sure 10,000 seats will be enough if the homie fans get visas. Looking forward to this.

will be Beterbiev-Usyk once again, Gwozdyk moves better and is faster in general, will be battering Beterbiev from outside all night with his straight short rights and left hooks, Beterbiev is gonna have to reach and jump on Gwozdyk, should be fun to watch

Beterbievs last fight proved to me that he is not too old and inactive yet. He didn't waste his career, that beast is still in there.
I think Beterbiev is not that far off from his prime yet and that is bad news for Gvozdyk. I don't think he will be able to take the power

However, as someone who was born and raised in Atlantic City, I can tell you the southern part of the state gravitates to Philadelphia as opposed to North Jersey (who gravitates to New York). Essentially two different states. Eagles, Flyers, Sixers, Phillies are teams the South pulls for. Even "NJ" teams aren't rooted for in the south (such as the Devils and Nets).
Gatti being based out of Jersey City may have mattered to some of the Casino goers trekking to Atlantic City from NY but wouldn't have mattered to the residents. Gatti was different in that be fought in Atlantic City often and embraced the fans. He was an adopted resident because he was a warrior and he breathed life in a dying boxing scene in the city.

IT'S ABOUT TIME!!! I honestly thought these guys would be 40 before they challenged each other.
I'm surprised Bivol wasn't the first of the Russian/Ukranian dominated title holders to negotiate a unification fight, as he has been the longest reigning, busiest and most vocal.
Pascal beating the 175's leading contender really shook things up - and not in a good way. Now we have to watch Pascal fool himself into believing he has been reborn, age is not a factor...and well we'll have to wait for him to get his arse kicked right out of the ring.
More unification fights! Bivol v the winner of Kovalev v Yarde (f*^k Canelo) then a fight for undisputed. Yeah right.
I'm living in the seventies.

I know gvosdyk ended Stevenson career but for the first 10 rounds of the fight gvosdyk didn't impress and was down on the cards. Stevenson gassed due to age not due to pressure. Gvosdyks heisitates a lot im not really that sold on either guy
