AJ wanted a viral hit knockout like Wilder had done two weeks before him.

Instead of boxing safely like he did against Parker, he jumped straight into the exchanges and got nailed by a more experienced inside fighter.

Wilder's win led to Joshua's defeat.

Indirectly, Wilder defeated Joshua.

You might not be far from the truth but the bottom line Is he lost and need to bounce back.

I clearly will not put my money on AJ for that rematch, he is not good mentally, trying to cover him with mental coach's army (who only there to suck his money) and already annihilated his fighter instinct from before.

Youre not mentioning the fact that Ruiz had just fought and beat Dimi only 35 days before he fought and beat AJ. Its not like Andy was coming off the couch! He had a great camp for Dimi and never got hurt in that fight.

As for your "he lost to Parker"....Damn near everyone who watched that fight saw it as either at worst a draw or a win for Ruiz. The only people who doubted Ruiz and claimed he was a cherry pick were mostly Wilder fanboys or just people who dont like AJ. Real fans with a knowledge of boxing knew that Ruiz was a real threat. Looking forward to the rematch.

I know that, but that wasn't how Joshua and Hearn was looking at it! They didn't think Ruiz was that good! I know that because Michael Hunter wanted the match, and he can box, but they said they didn't like his style for the fans! They thought Ruiz was tailored made for Joshua, but Ruiz was more than they expected!

I know Wilder ain't broke but it's hard to believe hes worth 30mill, unless that's from sponsorships and side deals? Aj has been earning either close to or more than 20 mill for his a last 4-5 fights. And he has sponsorships too. As for seeing them fight, I'd watch but wouldn't pay as its lost almost all its luster due to the bs both camps have put fans thru AND AJ getting beat the hell up.

I think AJ had that in his mind after he knocked Ruiz down. He wanted to get Ruiz outta there in similar fashion but got clipped when he tried to finish & never recovered like Ruiz. I think the rematch is a winnable fight for AJ.
