History will remember he ducked the fight that GGG deserved and the fight the largest number of fans want to see or why else would DAZN want it so much. If it was only a few die hard GGG fans that wanted a third fight then DAZN would not care if it happened or not.

That moment when a picture of Mikey Garcia being sacrificed to Errol Spence triggers a GGG rant and Canelo hate and accusations of not being a GGG fan.

    ....awkward...

Let’s ad “he doesn’t like GGG so he doesn’t have to fight him” to the list of spoiled brat $h!t he does.

I have never, in my history of watching boxing, heard “he doesn’t like the guy” as an excuse for a fight not happening.

      Never. Not once.

I’ve heard the opposite. They’re such good friends they won’t find. But never that they won’t fight because they hate each other too much.

In fact, that’s usually the reason the fight sells. I feel like I hear the bad blood thing in every fight promotion but NEVER as a reason the fight won’t happen.

Here’s a list off the top of my head of fighters would fought when they hated each other. If anyone wants to add, or point out a time where two fighters hated each other so much they didn’t fight, it would be appreciated.

Mike Tyson bit Lennox Lewis in the leg during a press conference and stated he would eat his children. Lewis said he would **** Mike Tyson’s sister. They fought.

Fernando Vargas and Oscar De La Hoya hated each other way more than GGG and Canelo do. They fought.

Erik Morales and Marco Antonio Barrera hated each other. They fought three times.

Stanley Ketchel and Billy Papke hated each other. They fought four times.

Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier hated each other so much that Frazier continued to say terrible things about Ali even when he was clearly suffering from Parkinson’s disease. They fought three times.

Wladimir Klitschko clearly hated Tyson Fury during the lead up to their fight. They fought.

Roy Jones and Antonio Tarver Hayes each other yet fought three times

Ricardo Mayorga called Oscar De La Hoya a b***h and insulted his wife. They fought.

Fernando Vargas and Ross Thompson got into a fight at a press conference and ended up swinging at each other. They fought.

Miguel Cotto fought a rematch with Antonio Margarito after suspecting Margarito put plaster in his gloves during the first fight.

      Khan vs Brook
      Hatton vs Witter
      Bowe vs Lewis

Just 3 examples off the top of my head that didn't happen because one fighter didn't like the other.

Bottom line is GGG and Canelo fought 24 rounds already.

Andrade and Charlo are both undefeated and all we hear about is GGG vs Derevy or Canelo vs Derevy. F**k both of those fights. Jacobs already showed what level of fighter Derevy is. GGG could fight either undefeated champion but instead he chooses the guy who has never won a title for a vacant title.

If GGG ain't gon fight Charlo or Andrade then the hell with him.

Canelo should be fighting Charlo or Andrade as well but at least Canelo is talking about moving up to his 4th weight class to fight Kovalev(175). I remember when we wanted GGG to move up 1 weight class for Ward.

Now Ward is retired and Canelo is talking about fighting the guy that Ward dethroned at 175. Meanwhile GGG vs Derevy is next.

The way things are going we might see Canelo vs Ward in 2020.

Dazn wants the trilogy because that is the only fight they can make that will bring in subscribers and we all know this.

Dazn is more desperate for the 3rd fight than Golovkin is

GGG knows Canelo won't ever risk a third fight belt or no belt. GGG has moved on. He gets his 100 million bucks for 6 fights without Canelo and he doesn't need Canelo. 🤣 That's why he sent a letter to DAZN demanding the fight they promised him?

This is a belt that Canelo said “go and get.” If GGG wins the belt and Canelo doesn’t honor it, then that’s a question about not giving him a fight.

GGG should be focused on the IBF not Canelo Alvarez. There was never an industry narrative for 2019 Canelo vs GGG anyways. Industry backed the idea for Undisputed but even that fight wasn’t approved. How all of sudden are fans, not industry, concerned over September when GGG was never that option nor in a contract to begin with.

You won’t find any industry person saying that Canelo is ducking GGG when they’re trying to make the Kovalev fight.

If anything it creates a dialogue that GGG should be seeking alternative challenges as well. That’s what Canelo haters don’t want to happen. Isn’t that obvious?

Pascal just beating a younger Browne and fans can’t wait until 2020 for more Canelo GGG news?
amen....too much truth for the lil g superfans here

these guys actually think canelo is afraid of golovkin or something...golovkin has done nothing in the ring directly to canelo or otherwise(unless you think him knocking out steve rolls scares canelo lol) to make canelo "scared"

canelo fought the fight golovkin asked for and didnt get dropped or hurt.....and he won......and by september golovkin will be older and slower without any top level competition like jacobs inbetween......

there arent many that think golovkin can do much better...cept a few lil g superfans who think a new trainer will teach the old dog new tricks

if canelo signed to fight lil g right now for september theyd start telling us how old golovkin is again and how canelo waited for him to get old...theyd start changing their tunes and throwing out their built in excuses.....its just the nature of these insecure losers

I agree DAZN does want the fight to happen, but one month of subscription is probably less important that GGG wanting a rematch and another Canelo payday.

Watched some GGG fights this past weekend off AppleTV YouTube with auto play on while I cleaned some computers. Listening to the broadcast it’s crazy to know that GGG was 30 yrs old on his HBO debut with Proksa.

I realize back then what it’s meant to sell fights. Gain interest to tune in more to HBO boxing. I was amazed what GGG was saying in the post fight that he would fight anyone at 154-168 including Ward and they even mentioned Mayweather.

That 30 yr old version of GGG would get destroyed by the current Canelo Alvarez in perhaps 4 rounds or less. Not to mention that GGG was significantly bigger than Proksa, Rosado and Macklin. All great fights I watched. No one can deny that GGG even back then had amazing defense and an iron chin.

Sure Canelo had to break the mold to fully acclimate at 160. Perhaps Canelo at 154-155 may have been faster? Hard to say. Canelo NOW is bigger than ever, complete Middleweight-Super Middleweight. Just faster at 160 than 168.

Best Alvarez is to come but he needs to stay active. Remind me to throw a pie at Skipper if I run into him.

There are probably a few reasons he wouldn't want to fight him again but could we agree that one of them could possibly be that he doesn't want GGG to financially benefit?
