Yes it is funny. Canelo just got one of the best deals in boxing history. 365 million for 11 fights. He cannot possibly do even close to that well on his own or with some other promoter so I'll bet he stays where he is at. He may complain but he won't leave.

He fought everybody! so much respect.. But I keep it real.. Not like some fans.. I can honestly say I had him losing vs Lara and the first GGG fight.. And I had the second GGG fight a draw. If he fights benivedez it will be a war... In truth Ive never really seen Canelo really hurt... So this will be a good match up! But David is fast and has the height\reach advantage. I would put my money on David 12rd UD.

I have to admit , I think Alvarez's resume is overated.
I think Lara, Golovkin and Jacobs are Alvarez's best wins (and 2 of those wins were close controversial decisions).
Cotto was small and faded, also a bit of a joke as MW champ.
Trout's a decent win but he's a guy whose lost every time he's moved up in class (5X)
Also the guy's got 35 wins in Mexico.
I don't get how fans think his resume is special.
