A count is imprecise because a human is performing it and there is a alot of friction in the ring (boxers not going to neutral corners, picking up the count from timekeeper, etc).

A 10 count is not 10 seconds, it is a ref's count to ten. If it was 10 seconds, we would just have a timer run with a buzzer.
This is the best explanation of this I've read.

well, u may as well believe in miracles too. fury got up at 9 and still won the fight 9 rounds to 3.

but no doubt you were really good, and i think youll win the rematch.

Jack made the right call. This wasn't a Lucian Bute - Librado Andrade situation where the ref literally saved a fighter from taking a loss by giving him a 20 count to end the fight.

But Fury was able to get back up and basically won the round after the knockdown. The fact that Wilder couldn't finish him off, when he had well over a minute to do so says more about Wilder than anything...

nope. theres near unanimoty on credible boxing professionals.

some wilder fans do think the count was slow. no doubt. among hardcore wilder fans and LDBC, there are a good few. there are a good few who think he won. but among credible voices? uh uh. no one thinks he won or fury got the long count. ur in bradley beat pacquiao territory but much much smaller.

wilder may not be alone, but there aint many, relatively speaking, who agree. again, this is bradley beat pacquiao territory.

Deep down you know Wilder lost, that's why you went AWOL, too ashamed to show your face after all the s*** you talked before the fight. Sad!

had there been a crooked or less competent referee, that fight might have been waved off. cant disagree there.

UK's very own John Rawling and Barry Jones of BT-SPORTS would of never gave Tyson a count of ten. Rawling and Jones join the list of expert commentators that would of ruled Gypsy-Bum Tyson Fury out.

I know this disappoints you coming from your own people denium. Accept facts.

The crazy thing is given what's happened recently with boxer's dying after fights, had the fight went down like that now the ref would def wave Fury off after the 2nd KD no question. Even when he opened his eyes while on the floor he had that concuss look.
