Everything was done the right way. Fury got up in 10, ref double checked on him and let the fight continue. Fury beat Wilder but got blatantly robbed. that 1 round in no way justified a draw for Wilder

why did the Dr check on him in the 1st place - he never went down or looked out of it!! Had not taken alot of punishment up to that point in the fight. Was blatantly done for extra recovery time bc Ortiz hurt him and had a big round!

It was done for the exact reason that you stated. Wilder was indeed hurt. New York State had a $22 million settlement with Magomed Abdusalamov who ended up brain damaged. So of course they are extra cautious there.

Its a shame Wilder cant strongly believe the truth which is Fury beat him and got robbed on the cards. Wilders only fought 2 top tier fighters, neither of them were in any fit shape to be fighting for world titles. One had to be held back until Wilder recovered from the round before and the other straight up beat him.
