He's different from those guys. He has got his money tied up into different ventures and he's hands on with everything he's doing. And his lifestyle is simple, unlike the other guys and he has made more money than them without the money consuming ventures they get entangled in.

I don't foresee Joshua being in the $2M-$3M range. Hell if he's only able to make $2M-$3M a fight I'd suggest he retire to cuz sh^t has gone horribly wrong.

Well, if he starts fighting the likes of Hughie Fury and David Price, he won't make more than that.

Even if he beats Ruiz, I don't see AJ staying in the game for more than 5 years max tbh. He'll just scheme for the big fights with Wilder, Fury, Usyk and maybe Dillain Whyte. Then fight a few mandatories and retire. Losing would hasten it and once he gets those 4 fights and a couple of exhibition fights, he'll retire for good.

Well, you're judging him based on the only two big fights he has had in his career, where he won the mind games before the fight, not his whole career. Wlad wasn't motivated for their fight and Wilder was just erratic with his windmill. Just watch the other fights where he struggled against bums.

The Wilder fight also exposed his limitation because Wilder scored the two knock downs at midrange. If Wilder had focused on working his body, Fury wouldn't have enough gas to keep the fight on the outside for the period he did and he definitely would've stayed down after the 2nd knock down.

And a guy with no chin doesn't go 12 with Wilder. Thats a highly biased statement about him or you DKSAB.

Stiverne went 12 rds with Wilder in their first fight and he isn't known for his chin. A lot of the bums Wilder fought have no chin and they lasted more than 8 rds in the ring with him. Also, Ortiz would've gone 12 rds if he didn't gas because he didn't get knocked out cold. He just got up late.

Fury got knocked down by a cruiserwieght and some factory worker for fu..ck sake.

Why is a 7 foot mfer who a boxer looking to fight on the inside?!?!?! He can duck & dodge punches like he has ESP when people are on the inside with him doe & you are underplaying that.

Fury is 6'8/6'9 not 7ft. Wlad is a genius when it comes to fighting behind his jab and using his reach but we all saw what happened to him with the vicious uppercut when AJ caught him on the inside. In boxing, you can't fight at long range for 12 rds and you'll have to fight on the inside and at midrange from time to time.

Also, I don't even think Fury has that much reach advantage compared to AJ and since he likes fighting on the back foot and AJ is at his best when fighting on the front foot - he'll catch Fury. AJ also doesn't just swing windmill like Wilder, he throws high percentage punches and mixes things up.

I actually think Wilder's awknessness makes him a tougher opponent for Fury than Joshua is. Joshua is more predicatable.

I think Joshua is more likely to avoid Fury if he wins the titles back til ideally Fury gets into some jam again cuz the mfer is a lil off no argument from me with that. Then he'll fight a diminished Fury. I tend to think Fury fighting Wilder when there was no reason to fight him suggests Fury will fight anyone as long as he feels he's getting a fair shake & his value.

And no, Fury picked Wilder because he believed he'll beat him and he did if not for the corrupt American judges. Fury is smart and he knew beating Wilder would throw him back into the mix and it did. Taking the AJ fight was a risk not worth taking because AJ isn't as one dimensional as Wilder is and AJ would've destroyed him with body shots before taking his head off. It's also the reason why he decided to go with Frank Warren despite the offers he had from Matchroom.

I never knew that's how some if not most in the U.K viewed McCracken as a trainer .
I do remember him from Froch and he had a pretty good career . But i guess that was just from Froch being such a strong guy .

Froch has granite chin and he fought in a very weak super midweight era. Froch was slow, crude and robotic.

Even Andre Dirrell who's mentally weak beat Froch to a pulp in the UK but he was robbed. I still remember that fight like yesterday and it's one of the biggest robberies in history. It's up there with the Fury vs McDermott fight.

McCracken is more like AJ's teacher/mentor, hence he'll never leave him because without McCracken, he won't be where he's today. He deserves more credit for who AJ became than the noisy Hearn who most of these clowns think controls AJ. Eddie Hearn just like talking a lot - AJ made him not the other way around.

A decent defence coach would be worth the money spent, as long as Joshua can listen and stick to orders. The main thing is it needs to be someone that commands respect; any one of us armchair coaches could tell him that he needs to loosen up his neck/shoulders, move his head more, keep his left glove up and learn how to clinch better when in trouble but it would go in one ear and out the other.
