PBC has fox and showtime behind it, it’s fighters can become stars....it’s on cable, basic cable, and free tv....it’s ppvs are everywhere and promoted well. Btw, I posted the commission report for Ryan Garcia's fight at the Stub Center from last year where he fought Velez. The gate was 155k, but I know Coppinger said GBP had $1 million in revenue for his fight in March...I also requested the commission report for that card. But to get to the $1 million revenue number, he would have had to done much better at the gate than 155k. Either GBP got good advertising dollars or something, but hard to see to be honest. But let's wait to see what they did at the gate first.

Golden Boy allegedly got $90m from DAZN to deliver 50 non-Canelo shows.

Split that evenly and you've got $1.8m as the TV budget per show (doubt that it's actually split evenly, but we're just talking here so whatever).

Between the tickets, DAZN's TV allotment, the sponsors, international TV, etc, Golden Boy is expensing off a pie likely over $2m if the assumptions are true.

Rent the venue, stage the event, marketing, cost of TV production, etc, the pie left after paying the guaranteed purses is still ok, most likely

boxing is healthy when you start seeing good young white american prospects returning to the sport

both of those comments have racist undertones.... no one cares if hes white/black/green/purple
