Anyone can negotiate a rematch clause in a bout agreement, has nothing to do with belts. Many undefeated, up-and-coming prospects have them in case someone upsets them; they want to be able to get their career back on track without the guy that upset them asking for completely insane money.

How the hell does PBC recognize a tertiary WBA title as legitimate but they pretend the WBO doesn't even exist. The graphic they showed of Andy Ruiz had him holding all his belts except the WBO. They even included the IBO belt in the picture. I'm supposed to believe that Pascal's interim belt makes him a real champion but Crawford isn't a welterweight champ? That Yuniesky Gonzalez fight was incredibly violent affair too. Gonzalez looked like a monster but Pascal survived his assault and got the decision. Gonzalez was throwing with real bad intentions but I think Pascal took something of him that night. He never looked the same.

Indeed PBC is wildin' with that WBO stuff. No doubt that WBO has very close ties with Arum and Warren but PBC still being petty. A full WBO champ (especially one who has the goods such a Bud) is "worth" more than a regular/interim champ.

No doubt that I'm happy that my favorite hometown fighter Pascal gets to claim once more to be a "World Champion" at 36 years old but I know what time it is, he can't beat the real champs at LHW.

The PBC doesn't recognize none of that belt ****. That's the fighters own personal thing. The PBC is more interested in the money making part of the boxing business 🥊
