Manny just beat heavy handed 147 Thurman. Pac would walk thru 135 Loma
If a 40 y/o Pacquiao went down to 135lbs he'd be drained though, he hasn't made that weight in years.

It would be like todays version of Pacquiao-De La Hoya

No! Pac's workrate would be too great for Loma to overcome. In addition, Manny is a southpaw too.

I don't like doing comparisons with guys who are still mid career and guys who have reached the end of their career.

Loma could write himself into history as one of the greatest ever. But he hasn't yet. Pac has. So you would have to assume that the proven fighter would be the winner.

Assuming the fight is against the 130 version of Pac, then Loma would have his work cut out for him. Pac was beatable at that weight, and got beaten, but only by other proven greats. He also did some incredible work there. Yeah, tough fight indeed.

Ask me again when Loma has had 25 fights. By that time he will have had 24 title fights, so we can probably make a better judgment on where he stands. Pac has already had 41, so we are pretty sure of just how damned good he is.

So prime Pac would whoop Loma but for some reason a prime Floyd at 130 would be a competitive fight?

Prime Pacquiao no. A greener Pacquiao that was too wild...I think Loma could have outboxed that version, the early 2000's one. But the Pacquiao that destroyed Diaz at 135 and Cotto, nope

Pac was not the same kind of fighter he was at those weights as he was at higher weights. Pac man at 130 for the most part was just a straight up slugger who didnt rely on boxing IQ to win matches.

Would Lomachenko have a chance? Definitely.

                Teaching point. Erik Morales.

As for the people saying Lomachenko on picks on small men? Lomachenko had a tall narrow frame and doesnt hold his weight like pac who is broad and has huge legs.

But these guys wouldnt know **** because all of them have never actually boxed in their life and the other majority have never even played a sport in their life.
