    Khan-Maidana 2 would be a good eliminator...

I would have loved to see it but now I dont even know if Maidana is even top 10 material at this point and stage. He has to get back in the ring and puts some W's together before he can expect the general boxing public to take him serious.

Idk about you guys but Marcos doesn't look to be in peak shape

I'd like to see Maidana/Joshua though, it would be a nice get back fight for Joshua to see where his head is at after the L he took

Maidana performed better than expected for this reason..... Mayweather fought him flat-footed

they saw what Devon Alexander did to Maidana at 147, they knew that Chino was basic..... so they viewed him as Floyd's "Gatti at 147" opponent..... especially when Chino was hot after beating Broner..... Floyd heard all that "runner" talk, so he decided to make a fight that was more attractive for the fans..... just like he did with Cotto, when Floyd fought him flat-footed

and don't argue with me kid, the proof is right there on video for all to see..... Maidana I, flat-footed..... Maidana II, boxing on his toes..... fought Cotto flat-footed, boxed Canelo on his toes

I warn you not to argue with me (right on cue) before you at least check the video..... because yea, I can destroy the uninformed on this site

same with Mosley..... round 1, fought flat-footed..... overplayed his hand, because the perimeter had already been established in round 1, also fighting the 2nd round flat-footed..... clocked by Mosley..... then fought the next few rounds on his toes, makin it look easy..... then back to flat-footed once Shane was tired/frustrated from missing/timed

the selection of Maidana was an absolute cherry-pick, plain and simple..... he was a hand-picked "look-good" opponent who had the closest style to a punching bag that they could muster..... who, performed MUCH better than expected on fight-night

          that is all

I was not happy with that selection..... I knew it was a cherry-pick, Maidana had never done anything except PROVE that he was not on Mayweathers level..... and I saw exactly what happened in the fight..... so when you dumb cvnts seized on the opportunity to run around talking smack, therefore opening the door for Mayweather to arrive like Jesus riding his white horse to spank the upstart Maidana..... I hated you all even more than I did before

******ity justified the Maidana rematch, as proven by the result

what a waste of TWO fight dates LMAO

put it this way..... if Maidana beat Mayweather, then Horn beat Pacquiao by a much wider margin..... because that fight played out very similarly regarding style

          just saying

and yea, I am a Mayweather fan..... so I don't spend too much time talking about Castillo I
Clean and effective punches trump all scoring criteria and Floyd's punches did nothing effective to Maidana. Maidana looked like GGG in that fight. Maidana's punches were backing Floyd up all night and staggered him before he was saved by the bell. Yes, Floyd either blocked or dodged a bunch of his punches but the ones that landed won him the rounds. Floyd was hurt in that fight!

Manny was never hurt vs Horn and I had 2 warnings and 2 deducted points before I called the fight in the 9th round by TKO stoppage. How it plaid out in Australia never really happened to the real boxing enthusiast.

That would actually be a good fight to watch as a farewell for both legends.

If he doesn't like guys that run, I still question why Chino won't fight Jeff Horn. That's a perfect style matchup for him and a great way to show that he's not washed - or show that he never should have come back (if Horn sparks him out).
              Horn would kill him

Not worth it. Manny has nothing to prove, nothing to gain by beating an old Maidana.

                    I like Manny fighting Garcia.

so..... you had Pac winning by TKO, despite the fact that Horn beat Pac on the cards?

wow, I have heard fans say for fun that a fighter could get knocked out and still win..... but I never come across anyone who thinks a guy who lost should have won by stoppage

that is a entirely new one on me

what, so... a ghost of the dead Jeff Horn made it to the final bell?

                      pacfans..... making up..... " stuff " ??? ..... since 2008
