So was Wladimir Klitschko in 2017! Who wouldn't have wanted that Joshua rematch in 2018? The UK would have loved it! They loved Joshua vs. Povetkin too! Ortiz deserves a rematch just as much as Fury does!

That's because Ortiz was the best available and Joshua hadn't already fought him. They needed a boxer who was known in the US. That's why they lowballed Whyte - 2 UK fighters fighting in the US wouldn't attract a big audience there.

Ortiz/Wilder is still a good fight but let's not forget Ortiz is 40 and Wilder already KO'd him. More than that Ortiz hasn't done anything since to deserve a rematch. It's not like Wilder is taking a big risk here from his point of view. That's my biggest criticism of him. He should be taking on all comers at this stage of his career to prove himself the best. I rate him as no.1 but he needs to actually prove it in the ring.

Well it definitely won't be Tyson Fury because Top Rank carefully screens and handpicks all of his opponents. He never takes risks anymore. So it's safe to say that his 0 will still be intact when or ever the fight takes place.

I said from Wilder's "point of view" it's not a big risk. Just like fighting Fury when Fury had been retired for 2 years before wasn't a big risk for him. It was just to get a big-name on his record.

Personally I think Wilder has made a mistake taking the Ortiz fight. It's a fight he didn't have to take and he only took it to avoid taking the Joshua fight. I am picking Ortiz to win.

People on here... take it for what you will... kept saying Ortiz had him, if the ref was good he'd have had him out. Wilder was lucky. So while not actually claiming for a rematch they **** on his win so I'm guessing that's why they took the fight. The HW division is really sad at the moment no big names besides the 4 obvious ones... that being said.. Wallin is a ****ing joke of a fight. There's not even a reasonable way you can spin it no matter how hard you may try.
