    Wot No YouTube?

Some on this site can't use YouTube. If they could they'd know that...

    (1) Joshua choosing the rematch venue is in the contract.

    (2) Hearn says it's either Cardiff or possibly one other place but he confirmed it won't be in the US.

    (3) Team Ruiz Jr will be told the venue Friday Aug 2nd.

    It's gunna be Cardiff.

If Ruiz Jr doesn't come to the UK then he'll be in a big court case unable to box and leaking money to the lawyers and he will still lose - Hearn has a contract signed by Ruiz Jr, Al Haymon & the main PBC lawyer.

Bring on the court case either way it'll be Ruiz Jr crying and Joshua laughing

They don't need you tube because most wilder fans relie on idiot Ldbc vids which themselves are dumbed down but the dumb ones don't know it so if they cant get factual info from knowledgeable posters here they don't want it, and most are High School drop outs, it is what it is..

I don't think he said it'd be in the US, but he did say it wouldn't be in the UK.

The contract will most definitely be Joshua's choice. Ruiz for his part is doing nothing wrong with proving difficult , more money and maybe if he really presses home again.....yea Cardiff.

Hearn even admitted from the gate that they needed to work things out. In fact, he initially said it might happen in the US, then changed his mind. Does that sound like "in the contract" to you? If you want to be a Hearn puppet, at least watch his interviews.
please find me the hearn quote stating we need to negotiate or are negotiating the location with Team ruiz? Hearn stated many times once a location is decided, we will inform ruiz's team, that doesnt sound like ruiz has a say in the matter to me. Hearn said himself they are considering the fight in the u.s initially as it brings in more money and because Dazn wanted it in the u.s, NOT because Ruiz wanted it there. When your the A-side and your making a voluntary defense, the rematch clause can be what ever they want it to be, ruiz accepted the terms to get the fight. Ortiz was offered $7mil and if he won $10mil for the rematch, hearn openly stated this after Ortiz turned the fight down. What makes you think Hearns offer would not have had the same deal in place for Ruiz? Who was probably a lesser name then Ortiz.

What's the probability that Ruiz, Joshua, and Hearn are all on the same page and are just superficially arguing for publicity sake?

What about Pulev who has apparently filed a petition for his mandatory to be done prior to the Joshua rematch? Apparently, that could be good for business for everyone. It would mean, Ruiz/Joshua would have to have another fight to get back all the belts. Another high profile fight = more money in the making for the boxers, promoters, and IBF.

The mandatory was supposed to have happened in Oct. 2017. So, that is a long delay already. Interestingly, Pulev in co-promoted by Bob Arum and as per IBF rules, mandatory obligations supersede a promoter’s promotional rights including the rematch with Joshua. Failure of Andy Ruiz to fight Pulev if the fight is sanctioned could lead to his IBF title being withdrawn.
