Hope he's right but boxing is about confidence and it will be hard to come back from the beat down he took on Sat. nite.

Going into this fight I was pulling hard for Ramirez to win and I was thrilled for his victory.

But along the way I developed a huge respect and became a fan of Maurice Hooker. Fights like this, even in lose the fighter will grow even more. This guy is a class act.

I wish Maurice nothing but the best and will be pulling for him to reach the top again.

Yeah, I think moving up in weight would do his body just fine. He was a big Super lightweight cutting all the way down from about a 175-180 lbs. I believe at welterweight he would be a lot stronger and healthier.

He was just too weight drained from making a 140 lbs. He had no legs, stamina or power from being too weak; For cutting all that weight, just in order to make the Junior welterweight limit.
