Typical NYC slick talk. Even before the Nakatani fight he was talking out both sides of his mouth, saying he could beat Lomachenko easily but at the same time saying that 135 was too hard to make and he's going to 140 soon.

Sad to see, but we've seen it before. I like the loudmouth dads who shake the boxing world up while their sons do the fighting....but you'd had to have established yourself to some degree before putting so much weight on your shoulders.

Jr. and Sr. didn't get the memo, now everybody's making excuses. As mentioned in this thread, they seem to have been trying to skip over guys to get to the big names, and now this....

I still like the kid, I just wish he'd slow down a bit and at least be a prospect before calling out those big name guys.
