Gatti has always looked punch drunk. Like I said, Lewis was decent. Only better than Gatti. A natural 147 guy with good power and skills. Gatti is Gatti; we know what he's about. Lewis has only been beaten by top notch guys, whereas Gatti has been beaten by less than top-flight fighters...such as Robinson.

I disagree. Theres a differnce because a HW is a HW and has always been that. Half the top guys at 147 have only had 2 fights or less there so its not like theyve been there for years and not fought eachother. I think its not true because they will all start to fight eachother now like they should. They couldnt fight eachother before now because they just got here and everyone needs a tuneup

please, dont you realize floyd is about to fight spinks at 154 without fighting a single top 147 pounder in his brief stay there.

the only guy in the division who conducts himself like a champion and is willing to take tough fights is juan carlos baldomir. though he may not be able to beat a single one of the guys i just listed you can bet your ass that he would fight them all, you cant say that about any of the others. baldomir has my respect, these other guys can kiss my ass, including floyd

Im sorry but I just cant pick Cintron against any decent fighter after I saw him have a life & death struggle with a shot Teddy Reid and then get destroyed by Margarito in back to back fights.

Augustus & Mesquita will also fight any of them but that doesnt make them special. Its a totaly different situation.

I dont think Floyd will fight Spinks and if he does then its only to get a tuneup for Oscar. Its not like the guys at 147 are established except for Margarito and how established is he really? Hatton took on a ***** but Im ok with that because you know he will fight a top guy in his next fight. Shane has fought a bunch of top guys and wants to see how his body reacts at 147 until he fights a top guy. There's nothing wrong with that. Cotto definatly needs to step up but Im sure he's not that far away. Margarito does act like a clown for just going after Floyd but Im fairly confident that he will fight someone decent this time if the Floyd fight doesnt happened

you say baldy has nothing to lose, yeah well hatton, mayweather, cotto and moseley have everything to gain and theyre not interested.

imagine sugar ray robinson moving up to light heavyweight to fight for a paper title against a bum instead or rematching jake lamotta.

this is whats sad, these guys have been ***** footing around tough matchups for so long that is has become acceptable and even the fans are starting to think it makes sense.
