Are You OK with Floyd vs Baldy?

your joking...how can you all of a sudden thik baldy can win off of his performance against arturo gatti? floyd destroyed gatti also, floyd and arturo are two completely different fighters. one is considered by many to be one of the greatest fighters, while one is considered one of the greatest highlight reels. also, if this fight comes off i will gladly bet whatever your willing to put up.

i think i would actually put a small bet on baldy if this fight happened just because the odds would be rediculous.

Baldomir is terrific when you put him in with mentally weak fighters like Judah who run all night and C class fighters like Gatti. Put him in with a real fighter and he will look like trash. I mean come on, he looked horrendous last night. If Gatti wasn't so hittable, I think people would realize how truly pathetic Baldomir's abilities are. He can take a punch and fire back, but he has no chance against a real fighter or even a slick boxer. No chance at all.

Now thats where we disagree. I would pick him against Hatton or Cotto and I would have him 50/50 with Margarito. Shane is hard to tell but I would give Shane the advantage because of his speed

i hope you eat your words. when he fights mayweather. i hope carlos does very well. even if he loses. just hopefully not by KO or TKO

True but how much weight does that hold. There just as false as Floyd. Margarito had just went up and lost to Santos and Hatton fought Callazo in his 1st fight so how deserving is he? and alot of people think Hatton lost.

Add to that the only real title is Baldy's so its not like there belts carry so much weight. They didnt beat the real champ to get there belts

Doesn't matter what they 'think'. A win's a win and it holds plenty of weight. Just because people didn't know of Collazo and Baldomir, does not mean they haven't been good fighters.

Yes, I'm ok with Floyd fighting Baldy. There's never a problem with fighting THE champ in your weight-class. In fact, Floyd SHOULD fight Baldy...but he should also fight Margarito and preferably first. Margarito has had success vs better fighters than Baldy has, and is the better fighter.

So long as Floyd takes on Margarito within 6-8 months, I'll be satisfied.

baldy is the champ. so yea i am ok with him fighting baldy, but floyd doesnt deserve the shot at the champ more than hatton or margarito do, so floyd shouldnt get the fight.

how can u say floyd hasn't done anything at welter when his last 3 opponents are better than all of am's opponents ever with the exception of cintron. and zab would be am's toughest opponent ever if they fought. so how is am more deserving?
