Montreal is. Toronto is dead for boxing. Ontario has gone full MMA. As an Ontario resident, it’s awful lol.

But Montreal is boxing crazy still.

With that being said. The fight will be in the states and I'm 100% sure. If there was language in the contract stating Ruiz was obligated to whatever location AJ chooses the fight would have been announced by now. He is obligated to a rematch that's it!!

Yup. Love all these people picking AJ. How? He isn't stopping Ruiz. Ruiz has been on the canvas once in his whole career (against Joshua) and bounced right up clear headed and ready to fight. So three outcomes: Ruiz by stoppage, Ruiz by decision, or AJ by decision. Does anyone really think AJ the robot is going to outbox Ruiz over 12 rounds? Isn't going to happen. Ruiz wins again.

Absolutely, not from me anyway. A KO is a KO, as long as the stoppage isn't too quick or controversial. Again, its almost too much to ask these days for a major fight to end without controversy. I personally don't care where the fight happens, but I am surprised that AJ wouldn't want to redeem himself at the same venue. He clearly had an anxiety problem.

I have a feeling its going to be in the UK with Ruiz getting paid a much nicer cut.

Does he have to wear the same trunks, come out to the same music, use the same game plan, do everything he can to recreate the night he lost in order to turn back time and redeem himself?

What happened happened and it can't be changed. The rematch will be a different fight.

Hearn said could chose the venue without any negotiations with Ruiz, but he wants to give Andy the respect he earned. It's likely they are giving him more money than the rematch contract stipulated. He's a much bigger name now than he was before the first fight.

I don't know about the trunks, but he sure as hell better not come out with the same game plan in the rematch. As far as the ring walk music, I would probably change that. That song was kind of cool, but maybe a bit too chill for a fight song.
