Let's get this straight. Soccer used to be Association Football so named to distinguish it from Rugby Union Football, the word soccer comes from an abbreviation of association. So, any game like Union that combines running and kicking a ball is traditionally called football, like Rugby League football, American football and AFL.

His problem is that he can't hit hard enough, with the inevitable home town decision I thought it was a tough decision but passable.

Its always been called football. Because its played 95% of the time with your feet. Football is run by FIFA not SIFA. You have to be a special sort of feckwit to call a game thats played 95% of the time with your hands, football.

That’s likely going to be Tevin Farmer’s problem against Tank Davis too.

Most Brits were happy when Barrera beat Hamed, so...no. And don't let Bt Sport fool you, a lot of Brits hate Fury and didn't like Froch.

This is one thing I've noticed with Green Teefs... overall, they're not that fond of smack talk/showboating. I like both, but they prefer their boxes to be humble, like Ricky Hatton pretended he was.

"Cos Ricky 'atton's dead down t'earf is Ricky 'atton."

No, soccer has not always been called just 'football', that's the point.

He doesn't get supported so much but he stirs people up, uses the race card so most go his fights to see him get belted. He's not serious boxing these days.
