Why would he ditch the olympics? Would have been a great oppurtunity to polish the skills and wait out the ww division. It's wayy to stacked now

You are correct and I blame the promoters. By protecting their investments they are depriving the sport of it's best fights. What would Ray Leonard have been with out Hearns, Hagler, and Duran? How can Spence and Crawford become mainstream stars without fighting each other? Al Haymon seems like an honorable guy and does right by his fighters but is the sport itself suffering because of it? I am not just picking on him, Arum and Hearn share the blame was well. Boxing is suffering because the best are not fighting the best!

He couldnt go wrong with any of the top promotions. Top Rank, PBC, Golden Boy, or Matchroom would all bring him along to stardom. Might as well sign with whoever promises the most guaranteed money in writing.
