That extra fat adds weight and gives extra momentum to his punches.

A freight train with 20 extra carriages is harder to stop and impacts more on any object which tries to slow it down than a train with fewer carriages.

If you look at the pics of Ruiz at the weigh in, you'll see his chest, gut and arms are comparable in size to AJ but hiding under a layer of protective blubber.

I don't know, I think the fat has served him and his style well, he is immune to body shots, and allows him to keep a higher gaurd and exchange those looping bombs.

Ruiz did ok doing whatever he done before that first Joshua fight. He needs to be careful not to overtrain, or focusing too much on losing weight etc. Skills pays the bills!

Ruiz will come in lighter with more cardio.
If he does and AJ doesn’t change anything it will end with the same result.
But AJ should be focused and not off his game for this one.

He beat Joshua up, and never look tired doing it.

Joshua was easy work for Ruiz, just watch the fight.

Ruiz is one of those guys who can absorb punishment and a keep throwing high volume over 12 rounds, despite looking like he trained on his couch - he has a great engine.

Joshua's mouth is hanging open after 3 rounds and just can't take a shot without dumping in his shorts like a deer in the headlights.

I just don't understand this narrative from Hearn and Joshua's cuckold fanbase that Joshua is the 'real' HW Champion and he was robbed or just had a bad night when he lost 'his' belts?

Ruiz beat the guy up and deserves ALL the credit and respect as the new unified Champ.

Joshua was a fraud, Hearn bought his IBF belt as a present and then he barely got past a 40 year old Wlad who was coming off a loss against Fury, his resume is full of very average HW's.

Anyone who watches Joshua and actually believes he is some kind of super boxer is ******ed, the guy is a big stiff idiot.
