Andy did beat AJ up.He beat Joshua up, and never look tired doing it.
Joshua was easy work for Ruiz, just watch the fight.
Ruiz is one of those guys who can absorb punishment and a keep throwing high volume over 12 rounds, despite looking like he trained on his couch - he has a great engine.
Joshua's mouth is hanging open after 3 rounds and just can't take a shot without dumping in his shorts like a deer in the headlights.
Won't happen again.
Andy will use his weight training as an excuse.Comment

He doesn't need an excuse though, his confidence should be 100%.
When you beat a guy decisively and put him down 3 times you are hardly likely to spend your time thinking up excuses for why you may lose the re-match.
All the self doubt will be with Joshua, he will likely get exposed again.Comment

"Andy Ruiz Aims To Be in Much Better Shape For Joshua Rematch"
So, uh... how can he be in any WORSE shape?

Really though, IMO that won't be the biggest factor. It will be how well he is prepared for Joshua being a much better Joshua this time. He was a late replacement, and this time Joshua will be fully dialed in to all things Ruiz. I don't give Andy a big chance to still be standing after a half dozen rounds, but I could be wrong. Looking forward to a great fight no matter how it ends up going.Comment

Unless they come in with a plan to stink the place out with a grab and hold strategy, there is little chance of a different out come.
It wasn't a competitive fight. Ruiz dominated him.
Very few fighters come back from getting dominated and win the rematch.
Usually they get ****** out of there quicker, especially at heavyweight where the other guy now knows he can hurt you and take you out.
But you now know that you can't do the same to him.Comment
